Claudia López Rhea Photography is a Memphis, TN based photography team specializing in high-end architecture, food and lifestyle/travel imagery.  We have particular expertise in the hospitality industry. For the better part of the last decade we have been creating beautiful photos for restaurants, hotels, interior designers and architects from all over the world.

Claudia López Rhea began her design career in Guatemala City, Guatemala at the Universidad de San Carlos. Soon thereafter she switched to photography as her main medium of expression. For four years she shot photos on field assignments for the Guatemalan Institute of Tourism, working alongside photographers and researchers from various scientific groups and academic institutions. After moving to the United States, Claudia soon met and married her husband, Ryan Rhea, who first introduced her to Photoshop and web design. They’ve been working together creatively ever since.

She is now a designer and architectural photographer, while practicing fine art nature macro photography whenever she can.

Ryan Rhea received his first PC, a Radio Shack ‘Tandy 1000′, at the age of eight.  Ever since he’s been obsessed with computers, gadgets, science and technology.  Ryan taught himself web design and HTML in the mid ’90s while working on a double major of Anthropology and Spanish at the University of Memphis in Tennessee.  Not long after meeting his soon-to-be wife, they launched their company, “Gringo Media”, which went on to build a portfolio of creative work for many fine national brands.

Ryan now enjoys being a designer and professional photographer and is also a budding film photography enthusiast.  In addition to the visual arts, he is also a dedicated guitar and violin aficionado, usually practicing several hours a day.
